Recreational Facilities
Balmoral Village has a well equipped and easily accessible bowling green. From beginners to experts, everyone is welcome to play. The 'Balmoral Bowls Club' has dedicated club house facilities overlooking the green, a great vantage point to watch the game. For those residents who do not want to brave the elements, Balmoral hosts regular indoor bowling sessions in the comfort of the multi-purpose room.
It is important to stay active, with many residents enjoying water aerobics in the heated indoor pool to strength, balancing and chair exercises in the multi-purpose room. The village grounds also provide fantastic opportunities for exercise and outdoor activities such as walking groups, croquet and open spaces for just playing ball with your dog.
Social hub
The Balmoral Club lounge is a comfortable meeting place for friends and the TV room, with its lovely outlook onto the patio and bowling green, is an ideal place for a game of cards. A myriad of activities and social events ensure that the Balmoral Club is a hive of activity seven days a week.
Service centre
The Balmoral Club is home to a vast offering of services and resident resources. The well stocked kiosk, operated by residents, sells most daily provisions. A local doctor, podiatrist and hairdresser visit our consulting rooms on a regular basis. Other professional services are also available. Our Village Manger and our friendly team are also here at your service. The Village Manager’s door is always open.
Multi-purpose room
The multi-purpose room is a fantastic space for residents to enjoy. It hosts everything from large events with entertainment and dancing, guest speaker nights and line dancing, to indoor bowls, exercise classes, bingo and choir sessions, just to name a few. It has a dedicated stage and drop down movie screen, as well as modern kitchen facilities to support the many resident morning & afternoon teas, happy hours, private parties and events.
