Balmoral: Jazzing it Up
If it’s activities, events and a vibrant lifestyle you’re after, you cannot beat Balmoral. It may be “music to your ears” to hear that music is an important component of many of the things on offer at the village. Whether it be resident singing club on a Thursday afternoons. Or group sing-a-longs for those residents kicking on after the Tuesday night BBQs. Or visiting entertainers like Denis Walter at our annual Village Cocktail Party. Music is the spice of life.
So it’s no surprise that we have some talented musicians among our residents.
One of those talented residents - Barrie Boyes – feature in this month’s edition of Studfield/Wantirna Community News. Balmoral resident since 2010, Barrie is also an accomplished jazz saxophonist and dedicated volunteer at the Australian Jazz Museum in Wantirna.
